STAG & DOE Thank you email!

Hey guys,

A few words of appreciation to all of you especially Amanda for putting the stag and doe together in our honor. It’s definitely cherished and memorable…LOVE the penalty box idea.
Thank you to those who contributed their time and efforts into either selling tickets, helping with food or prizes and even games. Too bad I didn’t have any of Chantal’s Mexican Chili everyone’s been raving about! …and Terra’s homemade desserts (LOL)…wink wink.
Special thank you to Talia -my last minute pregnant babysitter who was sick but stayed till 4:30am…oops. Thank you big time!
Thank you to Mario for putting mom in the penalty box…that was CLASSIC and AWESOME all at once. And Andre…thank you for not going to the hospital when dancing on the chair; next time I’ll get you a table. Mandy; it was nice to see your singing skills but unfortunately for you the bamboo was across the street…oh and thanks for selling all of the 50/50 tickets. Andrew; sorry we missed you and Ian hope you had fun at you bachelor. Darren glad to see you didn’t completely fall asleep. Steve thanks for coming from so far with the gang. We had fun!

Again thank you…from the bottom of my heart. See you at the wedding!

My BACHELORETTE

July 9th, 2011...my bachelorette! Out with the girls I went!

It started with my friends showing up at my home to pre-drink and get me all dolled up in the super hot tank top decorated with condoms for me to sell to random strangers! "Have a safe fuck for a buck" is what it said...not classy in some peoples' eyes and to some perhaps it is. Our night was starting out great...people we starting to feel good and I was getting heartburn from drinking without having food in my stomach...nothing a few Gaviscon tablets can't fix. Limo was reaaaaaaaaaaaalllly late which intern made some of us drink more! Once the old 1990's limo got there it smelt old poonani! The limo was a mess...windows didn't work (down the whole time) but hey that ain't going to stop us from having fun! Shooters of Tequila Rose were past around and my male blow-up doll was waved out the window for bystanders to see his package! Made quite a few people smile if you ask me! Once at our destination...the Lone Star- my maid of honor was too wasted to have dinner and decided to hang out behind a dumpster and be sick (classic!)...then trying to prove to the doorman that she's all good! Let's just say she got off lucky by only having to sober up and drink a bottle of water! Sucker!
Dance floor is where I was most the night and had fun...Good times! Waited another long while before limo got there; we all went home feeling good and tired.

Thanks ladies for my night out!

BTW-I sold all my condoms thanks to my friends Mandy and Kim!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

If anyone knows Derek and I....We love fireworks! So much so that we go to every Casino de Lac Leamy Sound of Lights show...they are spectacular!

We decided this year to bring Drayden to Jacques Cartier Park and to see the fireworks display for Canada Day...The Royal Visit was to make them better than ever I'm sure. I packed up a few things and got things ready for our lovely night out just us... as family.  I bought Drayden a Canada Day t-shirt for the occasion just the night before. We found a great parking spot with a nice walk not too far from the park. Once there we decided to get settled at the Museum of Civilization; just across from the park. Perfect enough we found a great roomy spot with a perfect view. We were there early enough that Drayden was able to play and watch people walk by dressed up in silly red and white gear. Here we are sitting on our blanket laying on the heavily wet grounds from all the rain we've had in the last week...we weren't the only ones with wet bums thank god we brought our lawn chairs! Drayden was so patient...not knowing what was going to happen, he's just happy walking around and waving at people as well as eating snacks. Eventually I dug out a LED glow stick out of the bag I also bought the night before for Mr. Drayden. Boy was he happy; just like all the other kids that had wands and such that lit up. You can tell when the fireworks are about to start people get ready and their blankets or chairs and  kids get all excited. I got Drayden in his jammies with a nice bum change, gave him his milk and drank it as he sat on me. Once the show started Drayden was startled and cried for a few seconds and held on to me so tight...he fell asleep watching the fireworks. And before you know know it... it was over; home we went. The show was good but I love the Lac Leamy ones better. Drayden was sound asleep and Mommy and Daddy soon followed. I'm getting old!

All ready to go to the show....

Happy Canada Day!
