He's walking...

Finally! After many months of frustration and backaches (my back)...Drayden is walking; and he's proud of it too! I mean seriously; he should be at 17 and half months! When he wants to go somewhere fast he still flops himself to the ground and "Super" crawls to his adventurous destination. But when he walks he looks like a drunk sailor; poor little guy still need to polish it a bit but at least he wants to walk now.  It's actually quite amusing. What a cutie-pie my son is! (YES! I'm bias...but I'm allowed because I'm his mommy!)

Nothing in February...

I can't believe I haven't posted anything last month...where has the time gone? February was a crazy month but no posts...really? Anyway I guess this is where I catch up.

First off...Drayden's health was no so great. He ended up getting an intestinal infection which lead into him "puking" everything that he ingested...so after a few days of a chicken soup and Pedialyte diet like the doctor ordered he's better. Now he eats like a race horse to catch up on lost calories! LUCKY bugger...
Drayden also had his first hair cut just 4 days shy of being 17 months...he looks cute, older and really boyish but it still broke my heart having to trim it.  Thanks Matante Chantal!!!

Wedding planning stuff...Well Derek and I are well on our way to getting married in a church! We did our Premarital week-end classes. WOW that was long and different. Good in many ways and really makes you reflect on life! We learnt a lot together as a couple, as parents, as individuals and as a family. But trust me I'm also happy it's over. And last night we had a nuptial paperwork to do and a wanna-be rehearsal for our ceremony. Derek and I we're SUPER NERVOUS! I mean HUGE butterflies in our stomach and everything...hopefully I don't pass out on the day of. I thought it was just me but when I asked Derek he told me he was nervous too. Sure makes it feel like it's really happening...and FAST! This weekend we are going to Moore's to get the Tuxes picked out and in order for Derek and his men including our fathers, ushers and Drayden the MAN! Can't wait. So many details... Many thanks to Amanda and ESPECIALLY Terra and Nick for the babysitting services; it's extremely appreciated...and for those who offered as well. ie; Kim!

On another note...I babysat my nephew Nathyn (what a cutie by the way) last week for a couple hours while my brother and his girlfriend were out to an appointment. Drayden was so happy to have a buddy to play with. He got right into big brother mode which really made me think that I can't wait to start making/having more babies (only after the wedding). Can't wait for him to visit again.

I found my Bridesmaids' dresses!

After many hours of online googling as well as store shopping...I finally decided on one in Magenta! And they look great on my girls...can't wait for the big day things are coming together nicely.
