Going around the world...

We took Booboo to the museum “zee-um” this weekend and he was so excited. He thought getting a stamp on his hand to get in was so cool. They provided Drayden with a little booklet that mimics a Passport for him to use inside the Children’s Museum. The set-up inside in quite fun for little ones…you tour the world and stamp your passport at certain destinations (Drayden and Daddy had fun doing it). The boys had a blast touring a bus, a scooter and rigshaw from China, riding a camel in Egypt, going on a pretend shipping boat and being a captain, building homes with all sorts of tools and construction equipment (Drayden’s specialty…tools) as well as pretend painting the walls and even making food in a kitchen/café! WOW…mommy’s is tired! After our 3 hours escapade around the world he had a picnic in the grand hall of the zee-um. So much to eat and so much fun. By the time we left the parking lot Drayden was out like a light! I guess he was pooped too!

BOY or GIRL...???

Our “Gender Reveal Party” was a hit!!! It was fun. Terra made this really cute ducky cupcakes. Inside one of them revealed the gender of our new little on to be with colored icing that Pierre got!!! All our family was in attendance including Drayden’s cousins and my friend Amanda with her daughter Haleigh which he calls “Laylee”. So for those who haven’t heard the BUZZ yet…we are having another BOY! We are extremely excited and can’t wait to meet the little bugger!

A huge thank you to Terra for making cupcakes…it wouldn’t have been such a success. And also a thank you to our family and friends for sharing this day with us!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This Christmas was as magical as I thought it would be. Drayden is old enough to understand the concept of giving with family and friends. He's just as excited to give gifts than to receive them. This year Christmas started  at our home with Oma, Pépère, Mario, Talia, Francis, Terra, Nick, Anna, Pierre, Krystal and Nathyn. Drayden was pretty excited to have his cousins come over to play! Oma made a nice turkey dinner and then we opened gifts. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Drayden got busy opening gifts until his second gift...a Home Depot Toolbox from uncle Mario and auntie Talia....that was it after that! He wasn't interrested in anything else. It honestly made his Christmas. After the gang left, Drayden went to bed...with his toolbox...no questions about it!
The next morning, Santa came over to Mommy and Daddys' house. Drayden was so happy to see that Santa came over to bring cadeaux's! Down the stairs he came ...with his toolbox to open up gifts. I have to be honest here and say that Drayden was interessted for a little while before he wanted to play with his tools and new shovel from Santa. I guess Santa brought snow too because he we're getting a green Christmas before that!!! After the big gift opening at our house we went to Nana and Grand-papa's house; Drayden brought his toolbox. We had muffins and cookies with coffee or orange juice. Chantal and the gang came too...the kids played with their new gifts and we exchanged ours too...Happy faces all 'round! We stayed for dinner and it was good...as always. After our big day went home to bed. Boxing day was the Annual Bouchard Reunion, our whole gang was there..including Krystal and Nathyn. It was great food,  much fun and Drayden was fast asleep on the way home. We also had a visit with Auntie Amanda so the kids could exchange their gifts!
New Years Eve was a getting together at Denis and Oula's house...again with great food and company. Unfortunetly when you have kids you don't always tend to make it till midnight! We left the party and went to bed! You knwo you're getting old when...
