Easter Weekend

Drayden enjoyed all the chocolates that the Easter Bunny left him at home. Didn't take him long to figured out how a hunt goes. He had a blast with Daddy finding all his goodies and eating them too. It's almost like Drayden knew there was something going on because did he ever get up early. We also went to visit Oma and Pépère's house. Auntie Anna, Uncle Pierre, Uncle Francis as well as cousins Krystal and Nathyn were there too! What a nice day it was.

Matante Kim, Mononcle JY and Jordan also came by with a surprise for Drayden and stayed for a BBQ dinner. It was great to hang out outside with the kids under the sun. It sure didn't take long for Drayden to fall asleep after bath time... as it was way past his bedtime.

Easter Monday was a quick visit to Uncle Mario and Auntie Talia's. They surprised their niece and nephews with a plush bunny...so cute. And we also got to fianlly met the latest addtion ...Ray the puppy! After that we went to Nana and Grand-papa's house with another BBQ. We got to see Matante Chantal, Rodney, Matthew and Madisson. Drayden got to play outside with more cousins...

It was quite the busy long weekend but fun too. Except for when Drayden met the E.B. at Carling wood Mall...Poor guy was crying because he was just too scared.

GOOD Friday? Ya right!!!

Good Friday wasn't as good as it should have been...My poor Escape got hit by an old crappy Honda Civic. Here I am driving to get my hair done and BOOM...some lady decides it's a great idea to cross the 4 lanes of the Upper Aylmer Road while there's a bunch of oncoming traffic. Thank goodness (can't really say Thank God as Jesus died on Good Friday) I'm ok and Drayden wasn't in the car! Although the accident wasn't super bad it's still a piss off...major inconvenience on my end! We'll see what the damage is going to be once it's get estimated!

Also poor Drayden fell in the tub and bruised his gums. I almost had a heart attack..thought he lost a tooth or something! So far so good...looks like he might keep that tooth after all; the bruising is healing fine and the tooth is not loose. His luck lately hasn't been the greatest...with him walking it's been bobo after bobo!

Our Open House

So since our house has been on the market we've had activity! Not as much as I'd like but...I'll take whatever I can get. However we've been quite lucky with the amount of activity online!We've had 4 calls and 2 visits and an Open House that completely bombed due to weather! It couldn't have rained more let me tell you. But despite the weather we had 2 couples come on Open House day both very happy with our home! Plus we also had an offer the day before. I can't beleive it! We are soooooooo close to selling it.

Derek and I decided to finally put our home on the market! Our semi-detached bungalow has out grown us since a little guy came to the world (along with all the clothes, toys and whatever else comes with a child). And it seems the bigger he gets the more room we need. So our decision was made and everything else too...all the last minutes renovations, cleaning, de-cluttering and storing stuff at Derek's parents, staging and stuff seemed like a HUGE spring cleaning that hasn't been done in a while. WOW...what a difference. Derek spent many hours finishing the basement (God bless him) while I tried to keep Drayden busy with all the other stuff. All the while many mishaps happened and that's putting it mildly. Drayden fell on his Pick-up Truck and split his eye-lid open (under his eyebrow) and needed a stitch..ended been stitch-tape that Drayden ripped off the next morning...not even 10 hours of it been there. He got sick this week a few times and thank god we had scheduled a carpet cleaner to come in the first place due to us getting the place ready because I'm not sure how much more my carpet can handle. And he also got sick on Nana the day before the Sales' rep was supposed to come ...Nana saved the sofa and the carpet...but smelled like sour milk! Sorry NANA! Derek ended up staying home yesterday to finish up a few things and relaxed. And when I got home THE SIGN WAS ON OUR LAWN> I have to admit it was bitter-sweet. Sad to see it go but can't wait to move-on type of thing! Hope we sell quick...wish me luck!
